Mobile Technology Communities

Our Mobile Technology Communities provides collaboration opportunities for researchers interested in using wearables or other mobile technologies in health research.

We have the expertise to guide mobile research through regulatory challenges, development cycles, and the deployment of studies that to validate research.

Mobile Technologies Research Innovation Collaborative (MeTRIC)

We have supported hundreds of U-M researchers with their mobile research.

Our MeTRIC community provides collaboration opportunities, knowledge, and resources for researchers interested in using wearable, apps or other mobile technologies in health, wellness, and human performance research. Our goals are to:

  • Foster greater collaboration across mobile studies at U-M

  • Increase efficiencies, streamline processes and reduce redundancies throughout the University

  • Ensure researchers have the information and support needed, allowing ground-breaking research to be done at scale

  • Increase utilization of mobile and wearable technology in health, wellness, and human performance research

  • Elevate mobile technologies work underway at U-M

  • Set standards and become a national leader in the mobile health research space
