Overview
The Mental Health BioBank (MHB2) is a research initiative dedicated to advancing the understanding of the genetic and environmental factors contributing to mental health conditions. Through the collection and analysis of genetic materials and extensive clinical and lifestyle information from participants, the biobank seeks to identify genetic markers and other biomarkers associated with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. The overarching aim is to enhance the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of these conditions by utilizing personalized medicine approaches.
